A full ream of real animation paper, pre-punched for Acme pegs and sized for the 12-field standard (10.5" x 12.5"). It's thin enough to see three or four drawings through on a light pad and tough enough to flip thousands of times.

Which weight?

• 17 lb: more see-through. Pick this if you do a lot of in-betweening over several drawings.
• 20 lb: a little heavier. It holds up better to heavy erasing and scanning.

Studio tip: number every sheet in the bottom corner as you draw (scene, then drawing number). When 200 drawings hit the floor, you'll be glad you did.
