MallVR is an emulator from Gainesphere Studios that runs original 1990s Virtuality arcade VR games on a normal Windows PC with SteamVR, with true stereo 3D and head tracking. MallVR ships no game files. You bring your own copy of the games.

What you need
- A Windows PC.
- SteamVR and a compatible headset for the full experience.
- No headset? Every game also plays in a window with keyboard and mouse.
- Your own copy of the game files.
What it costs
- MallVR for PC ($25): launchers for every finished game, online play, voice chat and updates. The source code stays free on GitHub.
- Citizen ($7 a month on Ko-fi): early builds, tournaments and a vote on what is built next. Citizen does not sell or include game files.
Sales, tips and Citizen support pay for what is coming next. The current goals are on the Get MallVR page.
Setup
The current download and step-by-step setup instructions live on the Get MallVR page. That page is kept up to date, so follow it instead of older guides.
