Blackwing 602 Pencils – "Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed" (12 Pack)

Ships in 1–2 weeks. Ordered for you, then shipped from us.

This is the pencil Chuck Jones drew with at Warner Bros. The original Blackwing 602 went out of production and became so famous among animators that people paid a fortune for leftover stubs. It was brought back in 2011 and it's still the pencil working animators and cartoonists reach for.

• Firm, smooth graphite that lays down a dark line with very little pressure (the "half the pressure, twice the speed" stamped on every pencil)
• The signature flat ferrule with a replaceable eraser
• 12 pencils in a box that doubles as a pencil cup

How animators use it

Rough your poses in Col-Erase blue, then do your final clean-up line with a 602. When you're drawing the same character hundreds of times a day, a pencil that needs half the pressure saves your wrist.
